Releases

Every tag so far is an experimental, localhost-only prerelease. None is production-ready.

v0.3.0-alpha

October 22, 2026 · latest. Auditable workspace pricing and a compact dark analytics dashboard.

  • Authenticated GET /v1/prices and POST /v1/prices, with exact microdollar rates per million tokens and UTC effective dates.
  • Append-only price history. New prices apply to later ingestion; stored costs never change.
  • Missing prices, including a missing cached-input rate, mean unknown cost, never $0.
  • A React 19 and Vite dashboard built with free MIT Arc UI components: period selection, customer search, revenue against known AI cost, coverage, loss-making customers and unknown-cost diagnostics.
  • CI runs real Chromium on desktop and mobile through a live Docker PostgreSQL → local API → SDK → browser flow.

v0.2.0-alpha

October 22, 2026. A one-command demo, OpenAI helpers and unknown-cost diagnostics.

  • npm run demo starts a localhost PostgreSQL, applies migrations, seeds synthetic data and prints a fresh workspace key.
  • Post-call helpers for OpenAI Responses and Chat Completions. They send token and model metadata only and reject missing usage.
  • Per-model unknown-event counts in analytics, with a truncation notice past 20 models.
  • A full disposable Docker PostgreSQL → localhost API → SDK → Chromium check in GitHub Actions.

v0.1.0-alpha

October 21, 2026. The first source preview.

  • A TypeScript cost engine with exact USD microdollar arithmetic and historical input, output and cached-token pricing.
  • Reported, estimated and unknown cost states. Incomplete costs suppress the final margin.
  • A PostgreSQL schema and an authenticated API for usage and revenue ingestion, with idempotent retries and tenant-scoped filtering.
  • A source-first TypeScript SDK with manual OpenAI usage helpers, plus a local browser analytics preview.

Known limitations

  • AI contribution means revenue minus tracked inference cost, not gross margin or net profit.
  • No official provider price catalog, automatic instrumentation, stable npm SDK release or hosted service.
  • No PostgreSQL RLS, audited TLS ingress, distributed rate limiting, production backup and restore, or independent penetration test.
